Paraguay 1 Jamaica 0: Kerr blunder hands Diaz´s men victory

Paraguay were convincing 1-0 winners over Jamaica in Antofagasta on Tuesday, continuing their Copa America momentum.

Quarter-finals are all but a formality now for Paraguay, who have reached the Copa s last eight in seven of the previous eight tournaments surpassing the stage only once, when they made the final in 2011.

The victory saw Paraguay carry on their form from their 2-2 draw with Argentina, while for Jamaica, it was another 1-0 defeat after their opening loss to Uruguay.

Paraguay s winner came in unconventional fashion with Jamaica goalkeeper Duwayne Kerr providing an inadvertent assist.

Kerr rushed out of his area to deal with a lofted ball through from Victor Caceres, the Norway-based custodian opting to use his head to do so.

Man Utd break Arsenal record for unbeaten run away from home

Manchester United broke the record for the longest unbeaten streak away from home in English football league history on Sunday.

The Red Devils made it 28 matches on the road without defeat as they won 1-0 at Wolves courtesy of Mason Greenwood s 80th-minute strike.

They had equalled Arsenal s 27-game run set in the Invincibles season of 2003-04, with a 1-1 draw at Southampton last week.

United s last away defeat in the Premier League was against Liverpool at Anfield on January 19, 2020. They have won 18 and drawn 10 of games on their travels since then.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer s men have scored 50 on the road in that time, conceding just 18. Their top scorer in that run was Bruno Fernandes with 15, more than twice as many as any other United player.

Costa and Fabregas will be even more dangerous for Chelsea – Azpilicueta

Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas are only going to improve on their outstanding debut seasons for Chelsea, Cesar Azpilicueta has warned the club s Premier League rivals.

Jose Mourinho brought the duo to Stamford Bridge ahead of the 2014-15 campaign, and both players played central roles in helping the club lift the title.

Costa scored 20 league goals, while Fabregas provided 18 assists as Chelsea cantered to their first Premier League triumph since 2010.

Full-back Azpilicueta who is also team-mates with Costa and Fabregas for Spain says that there is more to come from the pair next term, though.

They are competitive and have a winning mentality. They will …
